Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Walk Up DJ iOS application and the walkupdj.app website (together, “the Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Walk Up DJ helps coaches and team parents play walk-up songs and AI-generated announcer introductions for youth sports teams, manage rosters, and track game scores.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts are created with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app.

3. Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription. Current plans and prices are shown inside the app before purchase.

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed by Apple.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • New accounts may receive a limited-time trial of paid features; when the trial ends, your account moves to the free tier unless you subscribe. No payment method is charged during the trial.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

4. Your content and music rights

You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service (rosters, announcement text, uploaded audio). You grant us the limited license needed to store and play that content back to you and your team.

You are responsible for the audio you upload. Only upload music you own or otherwise have the right to use, and use it in accordance with those rights. Walk Up DJ does not grant music licenses of any kind.

You must have the authority (as coach, parent, or with parental consent) to enter player first names and jersey numbers for your team.

5. AI-generated audio

Announcer audio is generated by text-to-speech technology. You are responsible for the announcement text you write. Do not create announcements that are unlawful, hateful, or harassing.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no reverse engineering, no attempts to access other users' data, no circumventing usage limits or feature gates, no use of the Service to infringe others' rights.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walk Up DJ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
